There are many delicacies of making and drinking coffee which can often end up badly. The brew time, water proportion, and most importantly the type of material of the coffee cup. This can get worse with using warm liquids e.g. hot water in a plastic bottle. In fact, the rate of leaching plastics from its base material can increase by up to 55 % on using the liquid at high temperature like any beverage like coffee.

It means the plastic cup will release the plastic additives when you pour any liquid which emits steam. Similarly, the additives from the cup can enter your body after mixing with hot drinks in plastic cups.

The plastic coffee cups made of the Bisphenol-A(BPA) material are not at all ideal to use for warm or hot liquids. It will directly lead to releasing the BPA particulates into the liquids. Hence, avoid using plastic cups for hot drinks or food. Because of hot, acidic, alcoholic items affects similarly if kept inside the plastic cups.

In a similar manner, some of the plastic cups are made of the PVC ingredients which include the Phthalates. The Phthalates will also tend to loosen after coming in contact with hot coffee in plastic cup.

Hence, both the BPA plastic and Phthalates can end up in your coffee adding the plastic taste to your coffee but also causing some these health problems given below.

Starting with the dangers of drinking coffee in a solo cup. There are some risks completely known to us caused due to drinking coffee in a plastic cup.

Hormonal Imbalance

BPA is the chemical resembling the human sex hormone. Having said that, the BPA easily gets interchanged playing the endocrine disruptors.

Fertility

The BPA mixed in the coffee can lead to chromosomal error which can ultimately be dangerous for women at childbearing age. In fact, pregnant women can suffer from a miscarriage due to the chromosomal error in the fetus.

Carcinogenic Effects

Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Vinyl Chloride and Dioxin material are most commonly used in making the plastic cups. These materials not only are useful for making the plastic more resilient but also cheaper.

On the contrary, it contributes to health risk because of its property of breaking the bond with the parent material. In fact, vinyl chloride is one of the vital chemicals considered as the first known human carcinogenic substance.

In the same manner, the elements of Formaldehyde can lead to nasal cancer and leukemia. Also, the Phthalates are responsible for acting as the pseudo-human hormone resulting in easily puberty in girls. It can even lead to developing breast cancer in later stages.

Other Diseases

Lastly, there are many diseases human suffers but is minutely linked to their habit of drinking coffee in a plastic cup. It includes the stimulating mammary gland, diabetes, some respiratory diseases, stimulating prostate cancer cells, etc.

The unwanted plastic elements are thankfully easy to flush out of the body system. It will require you to perform these three activities.

1. Increase Cardiovascular Activity

Do not overdo because you are yet to recover from the respiratory damage caused by plastic intake.

2. Hydrate & Hydrotherapy

Optimize your water intake to accelerate the eliminating organs. Also, try to perform hydrotherapy for the cardiovascular benefit and promoting the blood flow to vital organs.

3. Perform Deep Breathing
