Basically, a drip coffee is a result of slow and gentle extraction of coffee using some hot water. This coffee is termed drip because it is achieved a drop by drop substituting the coffee from the ground. However, this method of making a drip coffee can be executed with manually as well as with the latest day machines. In either way, the basic principle of the drip coffee making is the same.
The coffee ground is filled in a filter and is placed on the pot or the mug. Then slowly there is the circulation of hot water through the coffee ground.
Thus with the help of the gravitational pull, the drip coffee will be extracted from the filter.
The ground used in here is slightly more coarse than that used for the espresso. Yet the process of getting the coffee is too slow but sweet. Moreover, the coffee is much stronger than the espresso itself.
