Contents

French Press is the ultimate method of preparing and enjoying the real essence of Coffee. Some may not agree with this, but it’s a universal fact. Thus, here we will be reviewing Le Creuset Stoneware French Press, one of the finest French press product.

The coarsely ground coffee beans are first passed through the hot water, and then it undergoes the press where the mesh separate the coffee grounds from the drink.

If you are looking out for a quality French Press, then Le Creuset Stoneware can do wonder for you.

It has been trending for quite some time, and that’s how I ended up buying this unit. But this small gentleman surprised me with the features, and I decided to share my experience with you guys!

best price

Le Creuset stands out for their exceptional quality and the stoneware design which remains durable for a long time. The Le Creuset French Press is available in about 5 exclusive shades. You could quickly recognize this French Press for the unique color and design, and also they will match with the other Le Creuset cookware.

Beginning with the specifications details, I move on to the features and even discuss some safety tips. Don’t miss out on any info!

Spec-Check (Le Creuset Specification Details)

  • Le Creuset is a 27 ounce measuring French Press unit.
  • The maximum safe temperature for Le Creuset Stoneware French Press is about 260°C or 500°F.
  • The plunger is made out of stainless steel and the mesh sieve helps with filtering out the coffee grounds.
  • If you are using a broiler, make sure that you leave about 2 and a half inches space between the rim and the heat source.
  • The French Press unit is about 8½ inches high, and 6½ inches wide.
  • Cleaning and maintenance are easy, just let the warm soapy solution soak the machine for 10 to 20 minutes. All the residues and dirt will be out in a minute!

The 27 ounces measurement serves about 4 cups of coffee, which is not a large number though. Still, if you are living by yourself, and wish to share a cup of coffee with your friend then you can definitely try out Le Creuset Stoneware.

Features on Le Creuset Stoneware French Press

The French Press by the Le Creuset is known for its classic design and quality built. So, how can I skip on the features which I liked the most about this?

I don’t like joining with the hype and prefer to test it out by myself before reviewing any product. Following are some of the highlighting points of the Le Creuset, that are noteworthy!

Hand-crafted with Care and Passion

Hats off to the designers! Le Creuset Stoneware French Press is the perfect example of simplicity along with uniqueness. The shape of the French Press is simple, and also an easy to handle one.

All the designs have been hand-crafted by the Le Creuset team itself, making all the parts look elegant for any home decor.

Construction Details

Here the main French Press unit is built using a durable high-quality stoneware which is externally coated with a glossy enamel. This gives a shiny look and also the matching shades of the unit looks perfect with any other kitchen system too.

The plunger is stainless steel made and arrives with a mesh sieve for filtering the coffee grounds.

Is ceramic French Press a good choice?

The makers of the Le Creuset have opted for ceramic material instead of the usual glass. Well, there are certain scientific reasons for this if you Google about it.

Ceramic does not let the heat get out from inside of it, and this is the only concept adopted here. Compared to the glass carafes and other French Presses, this ceramic built thing retains the temperature effectively.

You could enjoy your cup of joe, without much loss on the temperature. Both the glass and the ceramics are brittle and easily breakable, so take an equal care while handling Le Creuset Stoneware French Press.

The Surface and the Cleaning

Here the finishing is done with the porcelain enamel, and this resists all the chipping and cracking of Le Creuset Stoneware French Press. This also makes the cleaning easy. You just have to soak the unit in a warm soapy solution and all the dirt will be out in seconds.

Safety Tips for Better Handling

Some of the reviewers have mentioned that ceramics are stronger than glass. I disagree on this since both the materials be it glass or ceramic require equal care and maintenance. But yes, there are certain advantages like the insulation property of the ceramics which makes it a better option than Glass.

For cleaning the Le Creuset Stoneware French Press, following are the things that you need to keep in mind-

  • Strictly avoid those harsh cleaning agents and even the steel/metal scrubs for cleaning. This could permanently damage the coating and chip out all the enamel finishing.
  • Buy a soft pad for cleaning, or smoothening purpose.
  • Even a nylon scrub is also a good option for cleaning.

If you follow them sincerely, you could maintain the Coffee machine for a good period of time. Thank me later then!

Summary

To summarize my review on Le Creuset Stoneware French Press, this is indeed a solid pick.

I bet you won’t be having several ceramic stuff at your home if yes then get one of these machines today. It’s a price-friendly product and offers many quality features for such a price. And that’s the main thing that I look out for! Something which is worth your money and energy.
